Horizontal Lagering Tanks

What is a Horzontal Lagering Tank?

Lagering is a method of beer aging at near-freezing temperatures that lasts for anywhere from several weeks to several months. Lagering takes place after fermentation has been completed. Stacked horizontal lagering tanks are used to store the aging beer after initial fermentation has been completed.  Lagering tanks are conditioning tanks where beer is stored from 1-6 months to clarify and lager before the beer is packaged or served.

Mixing Tanks USA stacked horizontal lagering tanks are unique in design. All of our lagering tanks are identical so our tanks can be stacked with either tank being the top or the bottom tank. This allows expanding breweries to buy a tank today and additional tanks in the future with the ability to stack the new tanks on top of the original tanks.
